The Studio

It all started back in 2022 with a good friend, a six-week pottery class, and absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. What began as curiosity quickly turned into an obsession with clay, form, and the endless possibilities of making something from nothing.

From those first wonky pieces, to the countless hours at the wheel, messy experiments, and plenty of cleanups, I learned that creating something meaningful takes more than just learning a skill. It requires patience, practice, and intention - not only in how an object is made but how it is designed to be used and experienced.

Counter Theory is the result of that journey - a collection of functional objects that become part of the everyday rituals - a vessel for morning matcha tea, a dish to hold treasured keepsakes, a vase for handpicked flowers from the yard, or a mug that becomes part of your daily routine; objects made to bring intention and slow down small moments.

Use them well, and use them often.
